Sunday is Valentine’s Day. A day when people all over the world celebrate “love.” We Christians, however, are the ones who get to experience true and authentic love. This love flows from our heavenly Father into all of the relationships of our lives – especially our marriage relationships. We are thankful that Christian marriages are so much more beautiful and romantic and intimate because of Christ’s power at work within us. He teaches us to be patient, and kind, and not envious or boastful, not proud or rude, not selfish or easily angered, not keeping a record of wrongs. He helps us to not rejoice in evil but to rejoice in truth. His type of love always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. His love never fails. It is among the greatest of gifts. So happy Valentine’s Day Fellowship Church. We look forward to celebrating the love of God with you this Sunday.
